Meredith & CharlieMeredith Krueger, @ThisPugs ife

Charlie, a little black pug, took ownership of Meredith Krueger in July of 2013.  Meredith’s now husband, JP, surprised her with Charlie after Meredith’s year long convincing campaign to get a baby pug.  His Instagram account, @thispugslife, was started in September 2013 and in 3 years has grown to 30,000 followers.  Charlie is on Page 18 of the New York Times bestselling book, “Dogs & Their People.”  Charlie loves peanut butter, short walks to the couch and barking at cartoon dogs.  He lives in Somerville with his parents.

In episode 35, Meredith Krueger the Dog Mom behind This Pugs Life, shares her tips on how to build and engage with a community on Instagram. In 3 short years, Meredith built up a 30K+ following for her dog Charlie the pug. You can find Charlie @instagram.com/thispugslife.
